Amazon Prime Day is here! If you're diving in, here are a few money-saving tools and tips to help you make sure you're getting the best deals:
Download cash-back browser apps such as eBates, TopCashBack, and Retailmenot. They can save you even more money during Prime Day. Go to their websites for instructions on how to get the apps on your computer.
Get some Honey. This browser app also gives you cash back and you can use it to check price histories to see if it might pay to hold off on that purchase.
Check FakeSpot. Before you comb through all of those user reviews or make a purchase based on a rating, plug the product into this great tool to see if you can trust all those raves.
Tap on Amazon app. Use it to stay on top of deals by setting alerts.
Check the competition. Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Macy's, and eBay are are all running competing sales during the Prime Day event. And you don't have to pay for a Prime membership. (If you do shop at Amazon and you're not already a Prime member, keep in mind you can always sign up for the free 30-day trial and then cancel.)
Charge it right. If you're a Prime member, sign up for the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card for 6% cash back during the sale plus an $80 gift card.
